Summer is here and the question is are we already geared up for it? Summer is a pleasant weather season - only a bright sun; no chilled air, no heavy blankets, no layers to cover, etc. It’s just you and your easy-breezy attire to roam freely, plenty of pulpy fruits & juices to consume, etc.

But what about the heat waves it brings with it, it is an inevitable part of summer and it becomes very important to know how to deal with this heat-throb.
Because of the rise in global warming, the temperature in summer has taken an extreme rise and it is important more than ever to protect yourself from its harmful consequences such as skin burns, rashes, skin cancers, etc.

According to experts, certain steps are effective and can be taken to be eventually saved from this hazard. Some of the ways are right below:
#1 Water: The Savior

The number one way to stay alive in this burning-hot summer is to stay hydrated. Dehydration can lead to dizziness, headaches, and feeling sleepy and lazy all day.

The doctor says it’s important to consume at least 2-3 liters of water during summer. You should also consume juicy & seasonal fruits.
#2 Plan your workout hours

We all want to burn those calories but planning your workout during the hottest part of the day just because you think it’ll make you sweat more is NOT the way to go.  You surely will sweat more but all that extra sweat is just dehydration in disguise. And when you’re dehydrated, your body can’t function properly, which means your workout will suffer, and so will you.

So better plan out your workout sessions. Do hit the gym early or after sunset when the sun is less scorching.
#3 A big yes to SPF

Sunscreen might feel sticky and irritating at times, but skipping it altogether is not the solution. Using good sunscreen protects you from harmful UV rays & sunburns so that your skin keeps looking youthful.

So, look for a lightweight, sweat-resistant formula that will keep you protected without feeling like a sticky mess, and stay beautiful as long you want!

#4 Breathable Clothes

Emergency Alert⚠️ Summer calls for light and breathable clothes. You don’t want to be stuck in clothing wear that’s practically glued to your body because of all the sweat. Finding appropriate workout gear made from breathable fabrics can make a world of difference in how comfortable and effective your workout will be.

And what’s better than opting for the king of fabrics: “THE COTTON”. Lightweight, breathable, soft, sweat-wicking; you say it and cotton brings it all. Cotton being a soft fiber helps regulate your body temperature and prevent overheating. So, don’t be afraid to invest in some cotton shirt- pants that will keep you cool and dry.
